The Biker Lawyers' Awards and Recognition

Pete Leehey was named a Top 100 Trial Lawyers (Iowa) by The National Trial Lawyers.

For more than 130 years, Martindale-Hubbell has been evaluating attorneys for their strong legal ability and high ethical standards through a Peer Review Rating system. The Biker  Lawyers have been recognized as top attorneys in multiple categories.

Pete Leehey was awarded the AV rating, AV Preeminent Ratings recognize lawyers with the highest level of professional excellence, legal ability, and ethics from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, based on reviews by other lawyers and judges. 

Pete Leehey was recognized at this level in both 2020, 2021, and 2026.

Martindale-Hubbell’s new Client Champion awards recognize those attorneys who excel at service as affirmed by their clients. The awards, based on the quantity and quality of an attorney’s Martindale-Hubbell client reviews, demonstrate an ongoing commitment to delivering excellent client service. Award recipients stand out from their peers with platinum, gold, or silver recognition.

Gold Client Champions have at least 6 reviews, with an average score of 4.2 or higher.

Peter Leehey has been recognized as a Gold Client Champion in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021.

Rated 10/10 (Superb) on Avvo- a website listing site that offers reviews of 97% of Attorneys on the internet. Avvo’s mathematical module considers and weights the information collected and provided to calculate a numerical rating, ranging from 1 to 10. Within the model, Avvo takes into account factors that consumers and legal professionals believe are relevant to an attorney’s qualifications, including experience, professional achievements, and disciplinary sanctions. 

As one of a small number of attorneys selected to uper Lawyers, Pete Leehey gained this recognition through professional achievement, peer recognition, and other distinguishing criteria.

Expertise.com scored 102 Personal Injury Lawyers in the Cedar Rapids, IA area, and recognized the top 14. Recognition is based on more than 25 variables across 5 categories. Selection criteria include availability, qualifications, reputation, experience, professionalism, and more.

Expertise.com then hires mystery shoppers to call recipients anonymously to evaluate them based on four primary criteria: Responsiveness, Friendliness, Helpfulness, and Detail. The Biker Lawyers scored an “A+” rating across the board.
