Motorcyclist injured in Interstate 29 crash

The Sioux City Police Department in Iowa reported that 60-year-old Sergeant Bluff resident Steven Hough was injured in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Interstate 29, according to an article on KTIV published July 30.

According to preliminary investigations conducted by the police, Hough was traveling at a highway speed just before 8:00 a.m. northbound near the Highway 20 interchange. The traffic ahead of him, however, had slowed due to nearby construction.

Hough avoided collision by veering his bike downwards. He was brought to the Mercy Medical Center for emergency surgery, but his condition remains unknown.

Because motorcycles provide less protection to the rider, motorcycle accident victims face a greater risk of serious harm. If you have experienced a motorcycle accident due to the reckless driving of someone else, the attorneys at the The Biker Lawyers, may help you pursue the funds you need to recover.
