Clive motorcycle crash injures one

A motorcycle-minivan collision resulted in one man incurring severe injuries in the head, data from the Clive Police Department showed. The crash occurred on the 3600 block of Alice’s Road in Clive, Iowa.

According to Clive police, Dallas Center resident Marshall Henderson was driving his minivan north towards Alice’s Road when it collided with a motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Granger resident Dane Jaquinta. Jaquinta was ejected from his motorcycle and landed in a nearby ditch.

Police officials noted that a long skid mark can be found in the path that the motorcycle made just before the accident.

Jaquinta, who was transported to the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines to receive medical treatment for his serious head injuries, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
