A motorcycle accident that occurred in Utah on Friday, August 12th, proved fatal for 58-year-old Bradley Hansen. The accident happened on Interstate 80 at around 6:45 am.
According to preliminary investigations, Hansen was driving a 2014 Honda motorcycle eastbound on I-80 in lanes that had been altered due to construction. While trying to ease back into the normal lanes, Hansen collided with two barrels and a large wooden sign. Hansen fell off his motorcycle after it had veered into a ditch.
Hansen was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but it wasn’t enough to save his life. He was flown to the University of Utah Hospital where he passed. This was the 17th motorcycle crash that has taken a life in Wyoming so far this year.
